In the wake of the recent tragedy in Aurora, Colorado, the Advantage, Olinger and Dignity Memorial® networks of funeral, cremation and cemetery providers are making their Compassion Helpline® available at no charge to the families and friends of the victims, as well as other community members affected by this event. The toll-free number designated for use by members of the Aurora and Denver-area community and their families is 1-800-854-8080.

Answered 24 hours a day by professionally-trained and licensed counselors, many of whom are multi-lingual, the Compassion Helpline is designed to provide emotional support and guidance at no charge to those in need of counsel during times of grief or mourning. Local Dignity Memorial providers and their partner, Charles Nechtem & Associates Inc., will provide this resource free of charge.

Additionally, the Dignity Memorial network is making available its nationally-recognized grief management library which can be found by visiting www.DignityMemorial.com and clicking on “Library.” The network is also providing bereavement travel benefits to those affected.
